210513: VIP Doorgift review

Ok short review oleh pengantin lama. hehe. Actually gambar kat atas ni lah yang menjadi sumber inspirasi untuk doorgift pihak pengantin lelaki dan kumpulan marhaban. Malangnya time tengah buat preparation tu, tak jumpa pula yang ready made macam ni. So, diri secara automatik menjadi rajin meDIY  beg-beg ini. 

Brown paper without tangkai dan kertas yang telah siap dipintal-pintal menjadi seperti tali ni beli kat kedai wakim di Chow Kit. Harga? Maaf dah delete daripada memory tapi murah ja sebab ni kertas recycle kan. Next step, gunting kotak/ kadbod yang dah tak guna and buat tapak brown paper tu. Kemudian, gunting tali tu ikut panjang tangkai yang kita nak. Then, tebuk dua lubang pada brown paper pakai puncher. Masukkan tali, lipat dan gam. Done! Oh ya. I printed pengantins' name and the big day's date on the brown paper before that. Abah worried about ketahanan bag tu. So, ujian ketahanan dijalankan over and over again to make sure tragedi tangkai tertanggal tak terjadi. Alhamdulillah tak da dengar komplen pasal tu.=)

1. sebagai hamba ALLAH

Alhamdulillah dah bergelar isteri kepada Encik Syakirin. Satu demi satu kerja menyusul sampai tak sempat update apa-apa. Terlambat 2 minggu lebih. hehe. Actually ni pun curi-curi update sementara tunggu hubby pulang daripada register master. I dont have any attention to review anything today. I will start reviewing my wedding tomorrow kot insyaALLAH kalau larat. Actually semalam baru sampai rumah baru, and barang-barang still bersepah-sepah. 150712: HIV screening test

Assalamua'alikum

Very long hiatus. Busy with works plus wedding's things. I'm working 24 hours 7 days. So tired. Monday to Friday focus on works while on weekend almost 100% of my time, I spend on wedding prep. Pejam celik pejam celik. I only have about 5 weekends (10 days) before the ceremony. -.-" 

Today, we (my fiance and I) planned to do a HIV screening test. [The HIV screening test can only be done at Government Hospital/KK/KD] We went to KK Bandar Alor Setar (hospital lama) about 8.30 am. Unfortunately, the HIV screening test only available on 2 until 5 pm (Sunday to Wednesday only). We tried going to other KK (Klinik Kesihatan). The nurse told us the same things. So, he sent me home. After solat Zohor, he will fetch me and we will go to nearest KK insyaALLAH.

At 2.00 pm, he and his sister fetched me. Then we went to KK Jalan datuk Kumbar. [Tips: Go to KK that have less patients. So, you do not have to waste time waiting for your turn]. We directly went to registration section and fill up forms provided by the KK. [Tips: Bring along pen and file/book because some KK doesn't provide pen and table for you. T.T] Then, we gave back the forms to the registration section and waited for few minutes because they need to fill up the form into their system. Oh ya, we paid RM1/person. After that, the staff asked us to bring the form to lab. The medical laboratory technician pricked our finger and put on a kit (look like pregnancy kit). After 15 minutes, we get the result. We bring back the forms to registration section before meeting the medical assistant. Done! I arrived home around 3 pm.

My result: Alhamdulillah NEGATIVE  =D
Mr Mars's result: NEGATIVE as well =D

For your information, the HIV result valid for 6 months. Don't wait until the last minute to do this simple easy peasy test. It  just takes less than an hour. =)

Alhamdulillah. Segala pujian hanya milik ALLAH semata-mata. =)

Yang pertama atas upaya yang ALLAH kurniakan untuk menyiapkan photobook pertunangan yang saya buat berulang kali disebabkan laptop yang akhir-akhir ni kerap sakit. =) Selamat dihantar semalam walaupun hasilnya kurang memuaskan berbanding hasil kerja pertama saya yang telah hilang sekelip mata apabila laptop di format.. Due date nya 11 Julai. Alhamdulillah voucher tak burn! =) InsyaALLAH photobook engagement tersebut akan menghiasi meja guestbook untuk ditatapi oleh para tetamu yang tak mempunyai kesempatan menyertai majlis pertunangan saya pada 15 Januari yang lalu. =)

Yang kedua atas rezeki ALLAH, saya berjaya menjadi salah seorang daripada 50 pemenang T-shirt bride and groom. Ya 50 orang. hehe. Sebab tu berjaya. =P Ini lah the first and only wedding contest yang saya menang setakat ni. Sadis tak? haha. Thanks to Rayyanart (the organizer). Saya dalam perancangan nak antar pillow case untuk di printing oleh pihak Rayyanart. Dah tanya harga. Quite reasonable. Tapi pillow case nya pun belom ada. InsyaALLAH akan digunakan untuk deco bilik pengantin yang simple teramat-amat tu. =D

Direct to the point, Alhamdulillah OP dah confirm. Actually OP for nikah, kenduri sebelah perempuan dan kenduri sebelah lelaki ialah my nephew. Anak my cousin. He is 2 year younger than me kalau tak silap. Before ni dia tak confirm because dia final year dan takut time tu dah start keja walaupun I repeatedly told him that my kenduri will be in hari raya. Olang talak keja la olang mau laya. haha. Tapi disebabkan dia tak mau ambil risiko menyebabkan majlis saya tak da gambar. So, dia tak confirm. 

Bila dia tak confirm sampai minggu ni, perasaan risau mula menggila dalam diri. Then, I started contacting my friend's OP. Perempuan. Ya saya nak OP perempuan. Unfortunately, she has been booked on that date. T.T Dia bagi contact number kawan dia and dia pesan suruh book cepat-cepat. Disebabkan gelabah yang teramat, saya pun contact dan dapatkan facebook kawan-kawan beliau untuk check hasil kerja masing-masing dengan segera. Gelabah-gelabah pun sempat lagi pikir nak yang terbahek jugak. hehe. As usual, saya tak puas hati faktor harga. =) Ada promotion menarik yang saya jumpa. In case ada B2B yang memang nak beli Ipad boleh la usha promotion ni. Saya dah tanya Rabu lepas dan dia kata on lagi promotion ni.

Saya tak ambik sebab bajet OP saya tak sebanyak tu. Saya hanya nak gambar dalam DVD. Saya spend RM400 untuk OP. No photobook, no printed photo. Only DVD. Untuk cut cost, saya dah beli photobook kat groupon dan tunggu promotion printing photo dekat group-group deal juga. Hari tu dah ada tapi saya tak beli. Tunggu dah ada gambar baru beli. Oh ya my photobook price is RM50. So, total lost rite now RM450. Trying to search OV for solemnization. Tapi bajet saya for OV+OP= RM1K only. Kalau jumpa yang murah saya on. Kalau tak, saya rakam pakai S2 ja la. Boleh tatap sambil senyum sorang-sorang.  T.T

090612: Celik Mata dan Jiwa Seorang Isteri

Alhamdulillah ALLAH memberi kesihatan dan 'afiat untuk saya menonton berulang kali video yang buat mata saya celik tentang perubahan besar yang akan terjadi dalam hidup saya tanggal 23 Ogos 2012 nanti. Daripada cik kepada Puan insyaALLAH. Buat mereka yang online menggunakan wifi yang block you tube, saya dengan besar hati ingin berkongsi point-point penting yang terdapat dalam video ini, untuk dijadikan ingatan pada diri saya sendiri dan semua sahabat saya yang sudi menjadi follower atau terbaca blog yang serba kekurangan ni. =)

Prof Dr Muhaya : Kadang-kadang kita ambil setahun untuk merancang majlis sehari dua hari, mencari baju, make up paling cantik, tetapi tak merancang kehidupan untuk 30 sehingga 40 tahun bersama suami.

Cara-cara menjadi isteri yang celik mata dan jiwa

1. indeks glikemik tinggi- bila makan, gula dalam darah naik memuncak. Bahaya! Boleh menyebabkan kencing manis.

2. indeks glikemik rendah - bila makan, gula dalam darah lambat naik

Protein : Molekul panjang. Jadi melambatkan rasa lapar. 

Air paip perlu di filter! Badan 70% terdiri daripada air. Pastikan air yang masuk dalam badan adalah air yang bersih dan selamat.

Ambil makanan tambahan : Dalam kehidupan kita yang sibuk hari ini, kita perlukan makanan tambahan.

300512: Menuju puncak

Alhamdulillah, dah hampir 2 bulan berhijrah ke Perlis. Kalau sebelum ni every weekend saya jogging dan weekdays sometimes main badminton dengan housemates, sekarang aktiviti bertukar kepada memanjat bukit. Bukit yang menjadi pilihan saya setiap minggu ialah bukit yang berdiri gagah di sebelah dewan 2020 di Perlis. Kalau eager nak tahu bukit apa, sila google sebab saya pun tak tahu apa nama bukit tu. hihi. Ni 1st time saya buat aktiviti panjat memanjat ni. For me, this activity tougher than jogging. Ni kira persiapan kahwin juga. Preparation untuk cantik di hari lebaran. =P Musim hujan sudah tiba. Aktiviti ini terpaksa dikurangkan. Bahaya naik time hujan. Licin. Tiba-tiba saya rasa gemoks! Kena carik aktiviti indoor la untuk musim hujan ni..heee.

290512: Sticker yang ditaja

Ni la aktiviti yang dilakukan semalaman semalam. Alhamdulillah dah settle gunting secara manual sticker 'Terima kasih' yang disponsor oleh kawan mak ini. Sejuta penghargaan untuk pemberian sticker sebanyak 800 ++ ini. Dont know yet kat mana nak tampal. Kemungkinan besar dekat doorgift. Actually net dan ribbon untuk doorgift dah settle. Tunggu dekat-dekat majlis baru boleh bungkus itu epal.Ya saya bagi epal untuk 900 tetamu yang hadir. Selebihnya akan dapat doorgift kenduri my sisters yang lebih-lebih yang tak habis tu. Kenapa epal? Sebab tema saya alam sekitar. hahaha. Sekarang tengah pening doorgift untuk VIP who are team marhaban dan rombongan pengantin lelaki. Saya nak DIY brown paper bag [dapat ilham dari sebuah magazine] tapi mak ada terberkenan dengan bag sedia hias kat kedai barang kawen. Hari tu tengok tak da warna yang masuk tema. Mak kata nak tunggu lagi. So tunggu la. Kalau tak da, I will proceed dengan idea DIY tersebut. =D Bahagian doorgift tak boleh tick lagi sebab ada 100 doorgift VIP yang masih menjadi tanda tanya. -.-"

Simpan dalam tupperware. Akhir bulan 6 nanti baru mula distribute insyaALLAH. Kad saya tak da sampul. Ni 1st version. 2nd edition punya ada tulis "kepada" kat muka surat depan yang ada wedding date [230812]  tu selepas dicadangkan oleh Mr Mars saya. Bajet, jenis kertas dan lain-lain yang berkaitan kad hasil titik peluh sendiri 100% ni akan saya review insyaALLAH after wedding nanti. Checked!

230512: Theme

Anyone yang baca post before ni pasal color tema saya tu? Actually warna tema dah tukar dah. From cream + gold + brown to cream + brown + green+ SIMPLE. hehe. Tema alam sekitar ya di Venus nanti. =P Di Mars maybe blue + grey. But I'm not sure la. Before this, Mr Mars told me that colors combination. However, lately he said no theme because no budget. Actually budget saya pun rendah saja. But still ada tema. For me yang penting kena kreatif ja. Pemikiran orang Venus dan Mars different. Dan saya berlapang dada dengan perbezaan pendapat tersebut. =)

Actually saya langsung tak nak dan tak kan masuk campur anything yang berkaitan walimah di Mars nanti. Let his family decide everything including our attire. Make up untuk diri sendiri saja yang saya uruskan. Sebabnya saya tak mau serabut kepala sendiri plus tunang saya itu anak sulung dan cucu pertama yang akan berkahwin. So bagi la chance ibu dan adik-adik dia rasa planning majlis sendiri kan. =)

Printer mengamuk

Laptop merajuk

Alhamdulillah dah settle pujuk Mr Printer, dan Miss Compaq. So kad dah progress. I dah print about 200 pieces last Saturday. Another 200 pieces has been printed yesterday. Kad saya teramat la simple. Hanya info-info penting saja dimasukkan. So, nak share isi wajib ada dalam kad kahwin.

1. Nama Parents

Reason: My guests mostly are mak's friends, abah's friends, relatives and also neighbors. Bukan semua tetamu tu kenal siapa kita. So, tak da la tetamu tertanya-tanya, eh ni kenduri siapa ntah. =)

2. Nama Pengantin

Reason: Tujuan walimah tu sendiri untuk menghebahkan perkahwinan. So, tercapai lah tujuan walimah hatta pada mereka yang tak dapat menghadirkan diri sekalipun. setuju? 

3. Tarikh 

Reason: Takda tarikh orang tak mai la majlis kenduri.Adoi.

4. Tempat

Reason: Supaya tetamu tak hilang arah tujuan. =P

5. Masa

Reason: Jadikan majlis lebih teratur. Tak da la tetamu nak datang awal or lewat sangat. Susah juga kalau tetamu dah datang tapi makanan tak ready lagi. yes or yes?

6. Nombor untuk dihubungi

Reason: Kalau sesat contohnya, guests boleh contact untuk pastikan berada pada jalan yang benarrr...

7. Peta

Reason: Memudahkan guests yang tak pernah datang rumah.

8. GPS koordinat

Reason: Support map. Some people come alone. So it ease them. Payah jugak nak usha map sambil drive. Much more comfy, bila ada mesin tolong sebutkan 'Turn left Turn right Go straight" =P

Dalam kad saya tak ada doa pengantin or nama ALLAH. Sebabnya, kad ni selalunya orang buang. So, saya decide doa untuk pengantin akan saya letak di tempat lain. Di mana? InsyaALLAH bila dah siap nanti saya announce.

mula-mula ingat nak reveal kad sendiri.. tapi tunggu la next post baru reveal.. heee... by the way.. kad ni cantek kan? jumpa kad ni dekat weddingchicks =)

100512: Checked

Last night, I called mak. She already booked a catering and canopy for my wedding. Alhamdulillah. I will meet them later to choose scallop's colour and discuss about canopy decorations. As always, I will leave the food matter to Mak and Abah. They know more than I am. So, let them choose what is the best. 1 more, my mom already asked her friend to make up me on both events, solemnization plus bersanding and bertandang. So checked! checked! hehe. The canopy will be checked later. I've to meet them first.

080512: Mapping Process

Lately most of my post here are related to wedding card. Actually I trying hard to finish making card as soon as possible because the card will be distributed before Ramadhan. As u guys known, one of the most important thing must be in the wedding card is a map. Actually there are two softwares you can download from internet to help you drawing the map. No need to buy. Just download a 60 days trial for free! =)

1. Edraw Max 

2. Microsoft Visio

I've already linked the softwares name above to the free trial software. I hope they can ease you drawing the map. I do not try the microsoft visio because it take longer time to download. Maybe the software is quite big. Then, I just used the Edraw Max. The only problem you will get when choosing to use this software is the map will have the watermark. I used 'Paint' to get the area which I want and removed the watermark using the ''Adobe Photoshop'.

It works! =)
